I'm currently looking for a decently-priced, terabyte-sized, fast speed, external hard drive, preferably with both FireWire and USB 2.0 inputs (and an on-off switch). Photos, video footage, and 24-bit/96 kHz WAV files are eating up my puny 120-160 megabyte external drives. I can't burn archive DVD+Rs fast enough. My C: drive is only for installed programs and mp3s from Amazon.com (I have an addiction to the download sales) and ripped CDs. I still have several piles of CDs to import into iTunes, and I'm running out of space.
I remember when I first bought a computer over 11 years ago, the dude at Circuit City said I wouldn't need any more than 6 gigabytes.
LOL.

I'm looking for something similar too, bro!
ReplyDeleteI take it you didn't get a good deal during Black Friday this past November??

Another hard drive wasn't on my list back in November. Now that I can record audio in 96 kHz (previously it was only up to 48 kHz) and my digital photos are now 10 megapixels (previously they were 2 MP)...I'm hoping Amazon.com has some nice Gold Box deals for external hard drives, really soon.
ReplyDeleteI'll see you at the screening Sunday, right? We just realized that it's happening at the same time as the Golden Globes live LOL, but before the Pacific Time broadcast.
Cheers,
Ryan
