Free Taco on Tuesday

It's not quite J. Wellington Wimpy's quote of "I'd gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today." However, since there was a stolen base sometime during this year's World Series, Taco Bell will offer one free hard-shell, ground beef taco per person on Tuesday, October 30, between 2 PM and 5 PM. Check out Taco Bell's webpage on the Major League Baseball website for more info.

By the way, congratulations to the Boston Red Sox for preventing the Curse of the Bambino from returning to Fenway Park. Oh yeah, and for winning the World Series, too.

One more thing: Taco Bell tacos are roughly 59 cents - give or take a few cents - so if it means you'll spend more than that amount in gas to reach a Taco Bell, and if it means you'll need to go out of your way on Tuesday afternoon to get a free taco, just don't. It's not worth it to go out of your way for something less than a dollar, unless of course, you either buy more food from Taco Bell and/or it's going to be part of a more productive day.

That's just some friendly (and painfully obvious) advice from me to you. Welcome to DeRamos.org's Money Monday.
